1. The Strict Luggage Limit Rule
Space in 4x4 vehicles and water taxis is very limited. Do not bring large hard-shell suitcases to San Blas.
- Recommended: One small soft backpack or duffel bag per person (approx. 30–40 liters).
- Where to leave main luggage: Almost all hotels and hostels in Panama City offer free or cheap luggage storage while you visit San Blas. Leave your heavy bags there!
